Introducing The Band - Concert Band - LM867

an exciting way to showcase the different areas of the band. The showstopper / musical theatre style is an ideal opener to the 2nd part of a concert. If practical, each section should stand to play their allocated section as follows:

• Bar 24: Percussion
• Bar 26: All Bass instruments with Euphonium if needed
• Bar 37: Trombones
• Bar 48: French Horns and Euphoniums (+Baritones)
• Bar 61: Saxophones
• Bar 74: High w/w: Flutes, Oboe, and Clarinets
• Bar 87: Trumpets/Cornets/Flugel
• Vamp Bars: These bars enable the conductor to introduce the section and repeat continuously as needed. The first of these is to include unpitched percussion.
• NB. The percussion are free to develop their own bars c.8 to 16 bars long on whichever instruments they wish.
• Bar 97: The whole band
